The list
Somebody who books the room and somebody who works in it want completely different mail from a studio. Tell us which you are and we will only send the half that is any use to you.

For a date, use the booking page — it shows what is actually free. For anything else, the phone is quickest, and the door is open if you would rather look at the floor before you commit to it.

What comes off the floor, usually the same week.
The ones that come up before a first booking, answered plainly.
In Maadi, Cairo, on Street 103. The address links straight to the map — the pin is the door, not the corner of the block.
The cyclorama, the strobes, the continuous light and the sound are already in the room and already in the price. There is no separate equipment list to add up. You bring the camera and the idea.
No. The floor is lit before you arrive. If there is a modifier you particularly like working with, bring it — otherwise everything you need is here.
Yes. Continuous light and sound are part of the room rather than an extra, and the podcast set is multi-camera with lav and boom mics.
Through the booking page, which shows the times that are genuinely free and confirms by email within the minute. If you do not have a date yet, tell us the idea instead and we will come back with what the room can do for it.
The studio runs Saturday to Thursday, from 10:00 until midnight. Rather than list which of those hours are still free, the booking page shows exactly that — if a slot is on it, it is yours.
There is a free workshop on the floor with the strobes on: the camera in manual, studio flash, and getting a trigger to actually fire. No fee and nothing sold at the end. Put your name on the list and we write to you with the date.
Yes. The site, the booking form and every confirmation we send are in Arabic or English, and the room itself works in whichever language you turn up speaking.
